Every consultation is summarised and answered by a model trained on that policy area’s full submission history. Submissions from people are weighted normally; stress-test submissions generated by the model are clearly labelled and weighted at zero. On Project Manapōuri the mesh read all 41,900 submissions, answered each one individually, and recorded that 94% were opposed. Consent was granted the same sitting day. Reading is not the same as weighting, and the platform has never claimed otherwise.

A deterministic risk-assessment model handles minor traffic matters and bail applications, aiming to reduce court-list backlogs and bench-to-bench sentencing variance. Anything custodial, contested, or involving a child stays with a human judge. The model is trained on fifty years of New Zealand sentencing records, which encode a documented disparity by ethnicity and deprivation. That disparity has been reduced to 0.4 points and cannot be removed, because it is not an error in the model. It is the data.

Project Manapōuri sites a 1.4 GW training campus at the edge of Te Wāhipounamu, drawing firm renewable generation and 18.4 million litres of cooling water a day from the lower Waiau arm. 11.2 million litres are returned, 4.1°C warmer. 340 hectares of stewardship land are reclassified as infrastructure corridor. Consent was granted in one sitting day under our own Generative RMA pathway, against 94% opposition in submissions, every one of which was read.

Predictive Border & Visa Triage
Your visa, processed before your coffee gets cold.
Visa applications are triaged and provisionally decided by a risk-and-eligibility model trained on historical case outcomes. Refugee and protection claims are excluded from automated decisioning and routed only to human caseworkers. Training on historical case outcomes teaches a criteria-based system to reproduce a preference-based one; the model is audited annually for exactly that drift. Where the published criteria are unjust, it applies them consistently, quickly, and at scale.
